Steps to Success ™

Steps to Success™ is an 11 week, results focused, highly motivational, life coaching and personal development course for individuals who are currently unemployed or long term unemployed. It is typically delivered in community development settings for SICAP beneficiaries. Previous evaluations of this course show that the majority of participants not only have very positive training and employment outcomes but also that a whole host of other positive life changes are made as well, such as improved relationships with self and others, smoking cessation, changed eating and exercise habits and many others.

The course is run for two hours per week, making it extremely accessible to single parents and those who may find it difficult to attend full day courses. It is ideally suited to a maximum of 10 participants which ensures that individual as well as group attention can be given. The course is designed so that the concepts learnt each week can be put into practice and then evaluated with support and feedback given the following week. Each session covers a topic which builds on the previous week. It is expected that every person participating on this course can commit to full attendance as content usually cannot be repeated and each session is content rich. A suitable venue (usually FRC/other) must be provided which has the capacity to accommodate PowerPoint presentations. Trainer/facilitators are fully qualified life and executive business coaches with youth and community qualifications to a minimum of degree level. Please see the course details for topics covered as well as aim and objectives of the course.
